PLASTICS - What we think of when we say or hear the word plastic?

A hundred years ago, the term "plastic" meant something corresponding to the reproduction of forms or the visual arts, painting, sculpture or molding. Today, the word is used more often and has a meaning that is not only art, but also technology and science.
